12-inch Sharpening Honing Steel gently realigns and maintains knife blade edges to extend the performance and life of cutlery. It's specially designed with a German steel alloy (X50CrMov15) sharpening steel that's fully sealed to its square plastic handle, which keeps it from rolling on the counter, and NSF to meet the highest food and kitchen safety requirements for home cooks and commercial kitchens.
It's dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. While it's recommended to hand wash for surface care, Cutlery-Pro cutlery is dishwasher safe.
