Cookie Decorating with Amber Spiegel: Regency Era | Sunday 08.03.26 @ 2pm
Join us for a cookie decorating class led by world-renowned cookie artist Amber Spiegel of SweetAmbs. This beginner-level, hands-on class is designed to introduce students to the foundational techniques of decorating cookies with royal icing.
Instruction will include how to prepare royal icing, how to properly thin the icing to achieve a perfectly smooth finish, and how to create elegant Regency Era-inspired cookie designs using the wet-on-wet royal icing technique. Students will embellish their creations with molded candy clay flowers, frames and cameos to add a finishing touch that will transform their cookies into edible works of art.
Each student will leave the class with their own decorated cookies, as well as copies of Amber’s signature cookie and royal icing recipe for continued practice at home.
No prior decorating experience is required.
Amber Spiegel, founder of SweetAmbs Cookies, is a globally recognized cookie artist and author with over 5 million followers across social media. While studying marketing in college, Amber discovered her true passion for decorating cakes and cookies, a craft that allowed her to blend her love of art and baking.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Amber now entertains and teaches millions through her mesmerizing cookie-decorating tutorials. She has partnered with brands including Domino Sugar, Netflix, and Paramount, and is the author of two books, Cookie Art and Cookie Canvas. Amber also founded the Cookie Art Club, a creative online community for cookie enthusiasts where she shares techniques, tutorials, and inspiration to help others craft their own edible works of art.
