Just a stone's throw from Kingston, nestled in the hamlet of Accord, you'll find Catbird Cottage where Melina Hammer and her husband have been hosting travelers for the past 6 years, preparing memorable meals and curating culinary experiences that celebrate seasonal produce to the nth degree.

We'll be preparing dishes together in the bluecashew kitchen from her most recent book, A Year at Catbird Cottage that emphasizes cooking and living in a more connected and joyful way.  Each recipe is as richly layered as her impeccable design aesthetic and we are just so happy to welcome her here at the shop!

On the menu:

cecamariti pasta (a pillowy, chewy, yeasted handmade pasta) with brown butter, Castelvetrano olives, torn basil, lemon zest and crispy sunflower seeds (no GF option)

roasted side of steelhead trout with spicy cucumber-orange salsa

double rye buckwheat plum cake
